Notes From the Desk of My Life

I’m a single, 40-something PR account exec/freelance writer living in a suburb of Detroit who is a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers. I also design and make beaded jewelry and I like to do crafty things.  I am the “cat-mom” to a big, beautiful orange and white Maine Coon-mix cat named Molly.

In this blog I will mostly be writing thoughts and observations from my life.  There will be posts about my family, hockey, baseball, tea, music, jewelry, religion, politics, books I’ve read and movies I’ve seen, places I’ve been to and whatever else happens to be on my mind at the time I am writing.

I have two other blogs that have more specific topics – From Flab to Firm chronicles my (mostly failed) attempts at fitness and weight loss, and Nancy’s PR Blog is my “professional” blog.
